This Privacy Policy explains how Klippers (accessible at klippers.ai) collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data. Klippers is an AI tool that turns long videos into short vertical clips with captions, subtitles, and trimming.

Klippers is operated by Peralabs ("Peralabs", "we", "us", or "our"). For the purposes of UK data protection law, Peralabs is the "data controller" responsible for your personal data.

This policy applies to anyone who visits our website, creates an account, uploads content, or otherwise uses the Klippers service (the "Service"). Account Data

Uploaded Videos and Generated Content

When you use the Service, you upload videos that our AI processes into short clips and subtitles. We process these uploaded videos and the clips, captions, and other outputs generated from them in order to deliver the Service to you. As described in Section 4, uploaded videos are automatically deleted after processing.

Payment Information

If you purchase a paid plan, your payment is handled by a third-party payment processor. Payment card details are collected and processed directly by that processor under its own terms and privacy policy; we do not store your full payment card number. We may receive limited information related to your transaction, such as confirmation of payment and your subscription status.

Usage and Technical Data

When you access the Service, we automatically collect certain technical information, which may include your IP address, device identifiers, browser type and settings, operating system, referring pages, and information about how you interact with the Service. This data helps us operate, secure, and improve the Service.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

4. Video Content and AI Processing

You retain ownership of the videos you upload and of the outputs generated from them. Uploading content to the Service does not transfer ownership of that content to us.

We process your uploaded videos solely to provide the Service to you — that is, to generate the clips, captions, subtitles, and related outputs you request. We do not use your uploaded videos for purposes unrelated to delivering the Service to you.

Uploaded videos are automatically deleted after processing. Once your video has been processed into clips and subtitles, the original uploaded file is removed from our systems. Generated outputs are made available to you in accordance with the Service and your plan.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share personal data only in the limited circumstances described below:

  • Service providers and sub-processors: we use trusted third parties to help us run the Service, including providers of hosting and infrastructure, payment processing, and analytics. These providers process personal data on our behalf and only in accordance with our instructions.
  • Legal requirements: we may disclose personal data where we believe in good faith that it is necessary to comply with applicable law, a legal process, or a valid request from a public authority, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
  • Business transfers: if Peralabs is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganisation, or sale of assets, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

As described in Section 4, uploaded videos are automatically deleted after processing. Account data is retained for as long as your account remains active. When your account is closed, or when personal data is no longer needed, we will delete or anonymise it, unless we are required to retain it to meet a legal, regulatory, or accounting obligation.

We take the security of your personal data seriously and use enterprise-grade encryption together with appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect it against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, so while we strive to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

8. International Data Transfers

Peralabs is based in the United Kingdom, and we may process and store personal data in the UK and in other countries where we or our service providers operate. Some of these countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction.

Where we transfer personal data outside the UK or the European Economic Area, we put appropriate safeguards in place — such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses — to ensure that your personal data continues to be protected in accordance with applicable data protection law.
